THE TRAIL-TAMING PERFORMANCE MACHINE. The 2014 Can-Am Maverick X xc DPS 1000R was inspired by the Renegade X xc platform and designed for riders that like the Maverick, but need a narrower track width for tight trails . With its 60-inch width, this machine was purpose-built for GNCC-style racing and aggressive trail riding where the standard Maverick’s 64-inch stance simply couldn’t fit . Packing a 101-horsepower Rotax V-twin punch and featuring race-ready FOX Podium X suspension, Tri-Mode Dynamic Power Steering, and Visco-Lok QE auto-locking front differential, this UTV delivers uncompromising performance in the tightest woods and most technical terrain.

The Continuously Variable Transmission features a Zylon-reinforced belt that is 1.6 times stronger and has increased compression rigidity compared to a standard belt, keeping it cooler and more durable . The CVT includes high and low ranges, neutral, reverse, and park, with standard engine braking for controlled descents .
